Are comments recieved on deviantart non-representative of the majority of comments that you'd otherwise recieve in "the real world", because essentially everyone on deviantart does their -own- art as well? (at whatever level of skill) Thus any time that you get a comment, it's more likely to be -another- artist who'll be able to appreciate the effort that went into the work more than a layperson... Well, I'm working on setting up a new DA group based around the concept of give-and-take critiqueing, where instead of being just asking for critiques or just giving critiques, you do some of both. At the moment, the system for trading critiqueing (declaring what types of things you'd be able to critique, declaring what pieces of yours you want critiqued) isn't something that I have written down, so for the moment I'm just going to start compiling resources for creating the club and other clubs to ask to let people know that it exists.
